Graduations

The graduation ceremonies of our 4 high schools have all taken place for this year--congratulations to everyone!  It has been a great year.

The Year is Wrapping Up

There's just a  few days left in the school year now, and everyone is trying to finish up their souvenir shopping, packing, and getting in anything they haven't done already.  That includes some fishing...

...and we also had our last activity of the year this week, seeing a fantastic Cirque du Soleil performance.

Graduations have also started, and we are looking forward to seeing all of our grads in their caps and gowns.  Congratulations!

Women's World Cup Soccer Game

Last Friday we went to see a FIFA Women's World Cup soccer game.  We actually got to see two matches, Australia vs. Nigeria and U.S. vs. Sweden.  It was a lot of fun, between the Nigerian band which played during the entire first match, and then the overwhelming number of Americans in Winnipeg to cheer on the U.S. team. 

Last week was also Leo's birthday, and thank you to his homestay mother for sending a photo of him celebrating at the always popular Montana's.

June is Here

It is the last month of school!  John Taylor recently had their International Student lunch to wrap up the year.

We went to the zoo,

Went to Shaw Park Stadium in downtown Winnipeg for a baseball game,

and Sarah had a birthday!

We still have two more events to go, a FIFA Women's World Cup game this Friday, and Cirque du Soleil later this month.  Good luck with exams!
