Winnipeg Jets Hockey Practice

This past Saturday we got to attend the Winnipeg Jets hockey team's morning practice.  Thank you very much to the Winnipeg Jets for the opportunity to come and watch, it is always a lot of fun.

 

Lunch at Carnaval!

One of the favourite activities we do is going to Carnaval Brazilian restaurant for lunch.  We try to go each semester, and 30 of us went last Friday on a day off school.  The food is always great and everyone has a good time.  Thanks to Carnaval for accommodating our large noisy group and letting stay a long time!

 

Recent Activities

It has been a busy end to winter here (yes, we are going to just assume it's over!).  We went to the Festival du Voyageur at the end of February, probably the coldest time we have had all year, but that is part of the experience! 

Then we went to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights the first week of March.  They currently have a free evening the first Wednesday of every month, and it is a great time to tour the museum.
