Visit to Manitoba's Legislative Assembly

Yesterday, our Chilean students, with a few others, had a tour of Manitoba's legislative building.

 

We had a tour of the beautiful building, and saw Manitoba's government at work during question period that afternoon.

We also got to meet with the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Assiniboia Jim Rondeau, who explained a bit about how Manitoba's government works and what the job of an M.L.A. is like.

Thanks to Mr. Rondeau for meeting with us, and to our wonderful tour guide.

Welcome Chilean Students!

Last week we had a group of students arrive from Chile during Spring Break.

They started off their time here with several activities, including seeing the opera and a movie, and then our Canadian Cooking and Living Workshop.
